Lexmark C543dn Pro Reviews

PC World‘s review Edit

Lexmark's C543dn color laser printer sports a completely new engine and is available at a temptingly low price ($399 as of 12/16/08). A small office printing simple, everyday documents might find it a good value--especially considering a duplexer comes standard. But if you need to print complex graphics, you'll find faster-printing, better-looking results elsewhere.

printercomparison‘s review Edit

While I was a bit disappointed with the print speeds after reviewing the speedy E360dn, I think the C543dn's print quality more than makes up for the lack of speed. Plus, the C543dn was no slouch when it came to extra features for the office: automatic duplexing, network capability, security options, optional paper drawer, single sheet manual feed for printing envelopes and labels, and several helpful modes (power saver, quiet and eco).

reghardware‘s review Edit

The Lexmark C543DN is a solid laser printer for a small office or workgroup, with the advantage of duplex print to save paper. Its new colour laser engine works well, though colours can be over-saturated. Speeds are generally reasonable, but running costs are, for now, high.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

The Lexmark C543DN would make a decent, low-cost printer for small offices with light graphics needs.
