Supports Apple, Windows, Linux, and multiple backup clients. It's small and runs quiet. Offers iSCSI, rsync, SNMP, and many other great features for small businesses. Though pricier than similar NAS servers, the Iomega StorCenter ix4-200d offers some enterprise NAS features many small businesses will find useful.

PC Pro‘s review Edit

Small businesses that want a simple NAS appliance won't go far wrong with the ix4-200d as it's very easy to use. It offers plenty of storage for the price and its backup facilities are a cut above the rest but it's beaten easily by Netgear's ReadyNAS NVX in the performance stakes.

The Iomega StorCenter ix4-200d doesn’t as many tricks as Synology or Qnap boxes, but its operating system is responsive and stable. If you need a Nas for VMware use, then the ix4-200d is a logical choice.
