HP Officejet 6500 Wireless Pro Reviews

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

The OfficeJet 6500 Wireless is a well-featured SOHO all-in-one machine and HP has obviously made real efforts to reduce the running costs. Print speeds actually approach manufacturer's claims and in the case of photo prints are unexpectedly quick. The only missing feature we could ask for is that front-panel USB socket, but perhaps that's ungracious.

PC World‘s review Edit

HP's Officejet 6500 Wireless color inkjet multifunction printer (MFP) finally offers some serious competition to the Pixma MX700 and other Canon models that habitually dominate our chart rankings. The two machines are comparable in speed and price (at this writing, $199 for the HP and $180 for the Canon), but the Officejet 6500 Wireless wins hands-down in design and in ink cost per page.

reghardware‘s review Edit

The OfficeJet 6500 Wireless is a very well-balanced all-in-one. It has a strong feature set, including photo printing and full fax functionality, as well as fast document scanning using its ADF. Speeds are pretty much what it says on the box - unusual in itself - and print quality and especially running costs make this is a very desirable small-office machine.

Print quality is good, though not quite matching HP’s "laser quality" claim. Printed text is clean and sharp, but black text in copies is a little fuzzy. The best value of the six printers I tested by a big margin, and it's reasonably nippy too. I can't complain too much about the print quality, either.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

The HP Officejet 6500 Wireless strikes an impressive balance of performance, ease of use, and features at an aggressive price. It's robust enough to support a small office with moderate output needs, and it's easy to install and use, with excellent software support. A cheaper version is available, without the wireless capabilities.
