If you want the absolute fastest graphics card on the market, then you must get the Asus N7800GT DUAL no questions asked. The Asus N7800GT DUAL performs at nearly identical levels to a standard 7800 GT SLI setup. As there is no performance penalty for putting both GPUs on a single card, users who were planning on getting two 7800 GT cards can now get the same level of performance on a single card, saving space in their system for additional components.

HEXUS‘s review Edit Like Unlike

The ASUS Extreme N7800GT Dual is definitely one of the more intriguing graphics products to hit retail in the last half decade. Multiple GPUs on one board is something that usually doesn't come out quite right, but the Dual certainly gets it more right than wrong. Very hard to judge since it's such a limited edition, very very expensive boutique piece of hardware. Excellent performance and engineering prowess, but more than a little bit nuts in every other way.

The Asus Extreme N7800GT Dual is a truly over the top piece of engineering. It makes little sense financially, and it only outperforms two regular 7800 GT cards if you overclock it, but by offering a quieter SLI life and the chance to own a limited edition, the Extreme N7800GT Dual will have its admirers and find its niche.
