ASUS EN8800GS/HTDP/384M Pro Reviews

HardwareZone‘s review Edit

The GeForce 8800 GS will probably do well against the 256MB Radeon HD 3850 but its limitations will hinder it when pitted against the Radeon HD 3870. Other concerns like temperature, noise or power have been mostly solved with ASUS' Glaciator cooler. It is quiet and cool, though power draw is only slightly lower than the GeForce 8800 GT. The GeForce 9600 GT will be the slightly better choice if power consumption is paramount.

tweaktown‘s review Edit

After all that, I am still really unsure of where the 8800GS sits on the market. It never performs as fast as the 8800GT which is what you would expect, but it scores around the same as the 9600GT, sometimes coming out ahead, and sometimes losing to it.
