ASUS ENGTS250 DK/DI/512MD3 Pro Reviews

pcstats‘s review Edit

While some might turn up their nose at the thought of anything less than newly-architectured videocards, the Asus ENGTS250 DK videocard shows that older GPUS can still keep up with the new kids, at least in the mid-range market segment. The Geforce GTS 250 GTS is a solid videocard for anyone who's looking to play DirectX 9 and 10 computer games at resolutions of 1680x1050, and a pair of GTS 250 videocards should be able to handle pretty much any game on the market, provided anti-aliasing isn't turned up too high.

Easily the best performing card in our testing today was the ASUS GeForce GTS 250 Dark Knight 512MB card though in a couple cases the 1GB model stood out above it. The Sapphire Radeon HD 4850 Vapor 512MB card still had some great gaming performance.

HardwareZone‘s review Edit

All in all, the NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 doesn't bring anything new to the table performance-wise, but it does add some much need spice and life to the stale mid to high-end graphics card segment. Furthermore, if you consider the increased support of PhysX-enabled games and CUDA-enabled applications, the GeForce GTS 250 does begin to look like decent value for money.
