ASUS EAH2900XT/HTVDI/512M Pro Reviews

TechSpot‘s review Edit

First and foremost the Radeon HD 2900XT is a brand new product and is going through a number of teething issues. There is a good chance the performance of the Radeon HD 2900XT will improve in time and we may well see it surpass the GeForce 8800 GTX in almost all games. Then again, things could stay the way they are, so we wouldn’t buy the Radeon HD 2900XT banking on it becoming a hell of a lot better than it is now.

HEXUS‘s review Edit

ASUS EAH2900XT is the fastest GPU produced by AMD/ATI and features an intelligent unified shading architecture and is rich in multimedia capabilities. However, it's not the fastest graphics card around. The EAH2900XT's price is its redeemer and the excellent software bundle makes it a reasonable choice for folks with £250 to spend on a graphics-card upgrade.

tweaktown‘s review Edit

No doubt the HD 2900 XT is at the top of the priority list when it comes to performance improvements and even if it doesn’t end up beating the 8800 Ultra, at only half the price, it is very easy to see the value in the Radeon HD 2900 XT. It got some bad press at launch but every time we take a closer look at it, it just seems to get better and better.
