MSI Wind Top AE1900 Pro Reviews

Fudzilla‘s review Edit

MSI Wind Top AE1900 is most certainly not your ordinary PC, as we’re all used to two main components – the case and the monitor. The Wind Top AE1900 however, is an All-in-one system, which holds all the needed components within and thus the name. The Wind Top AE1900 is priced around €580, which is a small fortune to pay for any single-core Atom-based system, but compared to All-in-one pricing MSI has quite a nice offer.

An attractive all-in-one PC with Draft-N WiFi. It's expensive, though; unless you really want a touchscreen, better-value nettops are available.

ITreviews‘s review Edit

A stylish all-in-one, ideal for those people who haven't got the necessary space for the traditional desktop PC, this machine would have been helped by bundling a wireless keyboard and mouse, although their inclusion would bump up an already pretty substantial price tag. While the touch-screen is good, the real disappointment is the lack of upgradability of both the memory and hard drive.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

A nice, big display, a touchscreen, 802.11n wireless capabilities, available in black or white...the MSI Wind Top AE1900 seems to have the basics covered. But a lack of upgradability, along with picture quality that's average at best, pulls this system away from the top of our budget all-in-one list.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

It's not exactly cheap, but the Wind Top is an eye-catching, head-turning PC, and if you install Windows 7 you'll have quite possibly the best PC in the world. Unless you want to play games.

Pocket-lint‘s review Edit

As just a normal computer it saves space saving around the home as it has no base station as everything is built into the screen's rear. It’s also very quiet in operation, besides pulling under 45Watts of electricity whilst in use per hour – that’s 80% less than most PCs.

Register Hardware‘s review Edit

Ideal as a second PC or for undemanding general use. Indeed, the touchscreen may well see this model become the kitchen computer.

Digital Trends‘s review Edit

For the bargain basement price, MSI's AE1900 Wind Top makes a fine living room machine, spare computer, or e-mail station.

computershopper‘s review Edit

The $599 MSI Wind Top AE1900-05SUS is an inexpensive touch-screen-enabled all-in-one desktop, but it’s now outclassed by other all-in-one offerings that cost as little as $100 more.

PC World‘s review Edit

The AE1900 all-in-one desktop provides netbook-like performance, but sweetens the deal with a large touchscreen.
