MSI Wind Top AE2220 Pro Reviews

ITreviews‘s review Edit

As All-in-One desktop PCs go, the MSI Wind Top AE2220 is a definite improvement on its predecessor with good multi-touch capability, Full HD screen resolution and a punchy sound system, but the relatively weak CPU won't be welcomed by gamers.

benchmarkreviews‘s review Edit

In conclusion, the MSI Wind Top AE2220-25SUS 1080p all-in-one PC receives high praise for it's extremely versatile functionality and devotion to affordable computing. Anyone who has shopped the market for comparable features and functionality knows that you can't match the MSI Wind Top's list with its generous price.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

On paper, the MSI Wind Top AE2220 is definitely a challenger for the "best all-in0one desktop PC." It's a sub-$1,000 touchscreen-equipped desktop with plenty of HD media features. However, a few shortcomings keep it from scoring higher.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

This MSI Wind Top AE2220 represents a significant upgrade over its predecessor but it’s hobbled by shoddy screen quality. If you're still won over by the MSI Wind Top AE2220's impressive specifications, you owe it to yourself to actually look at a working version of this PC - you might not like what you see.

Notebookcheck‘s review Edit

The MSI WindTop AE2220 is a living room and Touch-PC in one: the complete (notebook) hardware lies behind a 21.5-inch multi-touch display. Controlling the device with the hand is, after optimizing the settings, excellent. We were able to complete all of the benchmarks without the use of the supplied keyboard. Bringing up programs and inputting text functioned well when using either one or multiple fingers.

Engadget‘s review Edit

In the land of netbooks and nettops, the tried-and-true all-in-one PC still has a place in this world yet. MSI is living proof of that, with its 21.5-inch Wind Top AE2220 bringing Windows 7, multitouch and an eye-pleasing design to the collective masses. Said machine just started shipping to consumers at the tail end of last month, and we've been fortunate enough to spend a few weeks tinkering with one of the most cost effective AIO options on the market right now. Thankfully for those who enjoy doing anything with relative speed, MSI overlooked the Atom range and went straight for the Core 2 Duo lineup, and for those with a bit of extra coin to spend, there's even an optional TV tuner and Blu-ray drive.
