Acer T231H Pro Reviews

expertreviews‘s review Edit

The T231H isn't a bad touchscreen monitor, but it's simply too expensive to recommend.

The flexible build and high-gloss display of the T231H shows that it is clearly oriented towards touch screen operation, but it also performs well as a general use monitor and few sacrifices have been made in order to provide these added benefits. While the high price dictates that the desire for touch screen control should be a priority, this is an impressive and flexible entry into a growing market.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

Performance was along expected lines, and acceptable for the purpose. Pretty good if you want a decent touchscreen monitor, to use multi-touch features being introduced in many newer applications. Besides offering multi-touch, the Full-HD screen resolution is a bonus (most touch screens until now offered only upto 1680x1050). For the features and reasonable performance, the Acer T231H is not bad at all. Remember that touch on the desktop PC is still very much in its infancy. Buy the Acer T231H if you need and can afford it. However, if you don't need touch and the priority is colour reproduction, you might want to buy the Dell UltraSharp U2311H instead, at about the same price.
