nVIDIA GeForce GTX 465 Pro Reviews

ExtremeTech‘s review Edit

When we overclocked the GTX 460, we wondered if the GTX 465 might not be long for the world. But the GTX 465 turns out to have at least as much overclocking headroom as its little brother. And when you take advantage of that extra speed potential, you can see some impressive performance boosts. Increases of 10 fps or more can result in significantly smoother-feeling game play. For instance, overclocking let us play Just Cause 2 just over the magic number of 60 fps, where at stock speeds, the frame rate would occasionally feel slightly jerky, and the game less responsive, in the most graphically intensive portions.
