Mionix Naos 5000 Pro Reviews

bjorn3d‘s review Edit

The Mionix NAOS 5000 is an excellent gaming mouse. It is by far the most comfortable mouse we have used in a long time. It might take a day or two to get used to, but after that, it is an excellent mouse. It comes loaded with features and a software that is both aesthetically pleasing and useful, something we don't always see. Some might be disappointed at the low number of buttons, but we actually prefer that mice are not overloaded with buttons.

Probably the most expensive gaming mouse we've seen, the design and specs are impressive, but we can't see most gamers getting their money's worth.

Notebookcheck‘s review Edit

The Mionix NAOS 5000 is a high-end gaming mouse that performed convincingly in our review. The material, finish and particularly the ergonomics are very good and few mice in this corner of the market can keep up with the NAOS 5000. Subjectively, using the mouse is also pleasant and the comprehensive software that can only be gotten via the internet presence of the producer offers the ambitious gamer many options. Of course, such a project couldn't do without the neat little gimmick of LED illumination which can be set in all possible colours. The corresponding SARGAS mouse pad also gets a recommendation from us thanks to its good characteristics and a low starting price. The price of around 70 Euros for the mouse is relatively high for its position in the premium segment. We consider the price to be appropriate due its good performance, though a small carrying bag wouldn’t hurt.

bit-tech‘s review Edit

While it’s hard to justify spending £60 on the SteelSeries Xai, the benefits of the Mionix Naos 5000 are more tangible. The moulded body and velvety coating feel great in the hand, and the buttons are well placed. The mouse feels sturdy, and the configuration software is intuitive and offers the essentials of customisation. While £60 is quite a bit of cash, this is a quality mouse in appearance, feel and use.

techPowerUp!‘s review Edit

If you want one of the best sensors around in a well executed package (besides the wobble), then the Naos 5000 should definitely be on your short list. While it is less expensive than the SteelSeries equivalent it is still a very expensive piece of kit that not every mouse user needs.

hardwaresecrets‘s review Edit

As for the performance, this is a subjective experience. The first matches felt awkward by the full hand rest over the mouse, but as soon as we got the hang of it, we achieved our usually (great) gaming performance (the headshots just kept on coming). The Naos responded well to the sensitivity changes and it’s unbeatable in the comfort issue. As we said in the intro, it’s already our official mouse. Highly recommended.
