NETGEAR RangeMax Next WNR834B Pro Reviews

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

The Netgear RangeMax Next Wireless may not deliver on all that it promises, but we've yet to see any draft-n kit do this, so we weren't too surprised by the results. That said, this is as good a router as you're likely to find for the price.

computershopper‘s review Edit

The Netgear RangeMax Next Wireless-N is the company's basic 802.11n router, and covers all the basics well. It's not blazing fast but it offers decent speed, great range and a lot of useful features.

This router offers an easy-to-use management interface and decent performance that holds up at long distances, but it comes with few extras.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

Among the Netgear WNR834B's benefits are satisfying maximum throughput, a slick design, simple setup, comprehensive documentation, and tight security capabilities. But the Netgear WNR834B is one of the more expensive new Draft N routers around, and it takes a big speed hit in mixed-mode environments. Also, you can't adjust its antennas, since they're located inside the case.
