Nikon COOLPIX S570 Pro Reviews

expertreviews‘s review Edit

The 5x zoom wide-angle lens is welcome, but there’s nothing else here that warrants a recommendation.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

The Nikon Coolpix S570 has a few issues with pixel softening and it takes a while to render images on the LCD screen, but it is cheap and easy to use - it's great for a social snapper.

Camera Labs‘s review Edit

The Nikon COOLPIX S570 is a 12.1 Megapixel camera with a 5x optical zoom lens, and a 2.7in LCD screen that offers fully automatic operation with automatic scene selection and face detection. It's a lightweight, reasonably stylish compact with a capable zoom range which includes wide-angle coverage.

Pocket-lint‘s review Edit

A fleet of foot snapper this is not, focus is slow and not always able to key on your subjects, be they backlit, normally lit or otherwise. In the darker situations you're likely to use the camera (parties, nights out and the like), focusing becomes more problematic, noise issue notwithstanding. And so, while this is by no means the worst compact we've reviewed - and to be fair it is typical of such cameras - at this price it is one of the most disappointing Nikon compacts we've reviewed, which is a shame.

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

Although the Nikon CoolPix S570 has a fairly average specification and lacks a number of useful and popular features, it is very well made, easy and fun to use, and handles extremely well. It has above average performance, works well in low light, and the image quality is also better than most others in its class.

Steve's Digicams‘s review Edit

The Nikon CoolPix S570 is a mixed bag of slowness and great images, ease of use and and image distorting LCD.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

The Nikon Coolpix S570 is a respectable ultracompact camera, despite average point-and-shoot performance and some high-ISO overpromising.
