Canon PIXMA iP2702 Pro Reviews

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

The Canon Pixma iP2702 is a reasonable photo printer for anyone looking for entry-level results. It's certainly a cost-effective machine to buy and for the casual user it will prove easy to use and fairly cheap to run.

There's no doubt you can get good quality print from the PIXMA iP2702. There's also little doubt that it's a basic device, a bit pricey to run and one which should come with a set of ear defenders. It's about time printer makers considered noise levels, along with the looks and features, of their machines.

While you may be tempted by the low price of this single-function inkjet, take heed of the color output quality if you plan to print lots of photos.

PC World‘s review Edit

The Canon Pixma iP2702 inkjet printer costs just $50 (as of March 10, 2010), and it delivers what you can reasonably expect for that price: adequacy. In our tests, its photo speed and image quality stood out. It's an otherwise humdrum package, however, with unusually pricey ink.

ITreviews‘s review Edit

Canon continues to produce low cost printers like this PIXMA iP2702 with nippy speeds and impressively good quality images and black text documents, yet the Spartan amount of extras might compel you to look to higher spec models in the range.

printercomparison‘s review Edit

These days, it is so easy to get an all-in-one inkjet photo printer at a reasonable cost that single function inkjets are few and far between. There are several options under $100 that can give the consumer more than the Pixma iP2702 can and a plethora of options under $200 that can give consumers superb photo quality.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

The Canon Pixma iP2702 produces performance that’s unexceptional but quite satisfactory given the price. Should you be looking for an ultra-cheap (almost disposable) printer, we think you might be pleasantly surprised by the results. Unfortunately, the lack of an output tray and the occasionally excessive noise levels are significant flaws that may spoil an otherwise perfectly acceptable low-budget choice.
