KODAK ESP 7 Pro Reviews

PC Pro‘s review Edit

Plenty of features and simple to use, but the speed isn't matched by the print quality.

LAPTOP Magazine‘s review Edit

Kodak’s $199 ESP 7, which prints, copies, and scans, is the sleekest, most attractive all-in-one on the market. Moreover, it prints crisp photos, and the low cost per print makes it an attractive choice for budget conscious small businesses and telecommuters. If you can deal with an absent fax function and middle-of-the-road wireless speeds, you’ll get the best value when it comes to quality, design, ease of use, and cost of supplies.

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

The ESP 7 is quite a bit cheaper than its bigger sibling and although it lacks the ADF, touch control panel and fax facilities, in all other respects it's a very similar machine. As a home office all-in-one, it performs well, if not that quickly. Running costs are commendably low, which is always a factor in the purchase of an inkjet, and print quality, while not the best on the block, is more than passable.

PC World‘s review Edit

The Kodak ESP 7 color inkjet multifunction printer beats the competition hands-down in ink costs. Unfortunately, it's very slow, and its print quality on plain paper is underwhelming.

Kodak has heavily promoted the ESP 7 MFP on its print costs, with lots of examples versus rival printers.

ITreviews‘s review Edit

The Kodak ESP 7 is an impressive all-rounder that offers high quality prints of documents and photos with a minimum of fuss. Provided the relatively slow print speeds aren't too much of an issue, this is one of the most approachable solutions on the market. Though it does seem to sap colour ink quite quickly, particularly for full A4 output, replacement cartridges are cheap enough to mean that you should save a few quid over many rivals.

reghardware‘s review Edit

Print quality is generally good, with crisp black text, slightly mottled colour graphics and natural, well-coloured photos. This is another noisy printer, with measured peaks of 68dBA, and Kodak takes back some of its low consumables cost by reducing the feature set of the printer.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

We liked the low ink costs and extra features that the Kodak ESP 7 has to offer. Unfortunately, slow print speeds and subpar print quality make it difficult to recommend.

hardwaresecrets‘s review Edit

We were honestly impressed by the quality of the prints and the ease of printing that this printer produced when printing on Kodak paper. Unfortunately, poor quality control and other problems plague this printer. We have also read complaints about paper jamming, but our printer did not exhibit any problems in this area.
