expertreviews‘s review Edit

The disappointing image quality in both still and motion pictures makes the Samsung ST70 a camera with more style than substance.

So, some 14 megapixels, a very stylish and moreover very slim design, a broader than average zoom range, and for just £150 - a price at which anyone wanting a point and shoot to slip into their top shirt pocket when the barbecue season kicks off this summer isn't taking too much of a gamble - and what's not to like about the ST70?

Samsung's relentless assault on the digital camera market continues with another excellent ultra-compact at a very affordable price. Build quality, performance and results are well up to spec, and the value for money is almost unbeatable.

Pocket-lint‘s review Edit

In terms of photo quality, the Samsung ST70 delivers a good showing: handling a mix of light and shade surprisingly well, colours are warm and vibrant without being unrealistically so, and detail is unexpectedly sharp, though not uncommonly there is a loss of definition toward the corners when shooting at maximum wide-angle, plus taking pictures under a bright sun can result in occasional lens flare.
