D-Link DIR-855 Pro Reviews

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

The D-Link DIR-855 is a fast, well-specified and well-built device. It's also expensive and, good though it is, this Wi-Fi router is only truly essential if you absolutely must have the dual-band capability or the USB port.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

If the price doesn't put you off, you'll find that the DIR-855 makes an excellent home or business wireless-n router, thanks to loads of features and standout performance.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

The D-Link Xtreme N Duo Media Router DIR-855 is a stable performer with excellent Web interface. But because it comes in a bulky, old-school design, has a relatively short range, and carries a hefty price tag, consider waiting for the price to drop before investing in this router.

With basic wireless N broadband routers now available for less than eighty quid, D-Link is asking a lot for the DIR-855. There's no denying it has more features than you can shake a stick at and wireless performance is better than most, but if you want a more affordable albeit less well endowed dual-band broadband router then check out Netgear's WNDR3300.
