Samsung LE40B650 Pro Reviews

hdtvtest‘s review Edit

Sure, some other HDTVs are slimmer, and LED-backlit LCDs are blacker, but they probably come with higher price tags too – not such a good thing in the current economic climate. When excellent blacks, impressive SD handling, practical 100Hz motion, generous connectivity, and versatile PC-like functions are squeezed into a package costing less than £1000, it's hard not to regard the Samsung LE40B650 LCD HDTV as a terrific value-for-money buy.

Pocket-lint‘s review Edit

With the LE40B650 Samsung continues to change our expectations from a LCD TV. Last year it was the "rose black" design and primitive internet and streaming feature adding value. Now, with much improved picture quality added to the mix, the LE40B650 renders the old plasma vs. LCD issue virtually redundant. Now that’s progress.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

Samsung's LE40B650 is a set which will probably stand or fall on its internet capabilities, which in some ways is a pity, because it's a fine TV even without them, capable of producing decent pictures and offering a full range of user parameters. But if you are taken with the 'net abilities (like the HCC team is) this could be the start of a whole new way of relating to your TV.
