Sony BRAVIA KDL-40E4000 Pro Reviews

Pocket-lint‘s review Edit

So the KDL-40E4000 is a decent TV, but it’s hardly unique; even the KDL-40W4000 has the Picture Frame mode. So the extra couple of hundred pounds you’ll spend on the KDL-40E4000 is basically for the colour choice. Those more interested in getting a thoroughly decent HDTV with a top-class menu system are better off with the cheaper KDL-40W4000, though if you can bag it with the Blu-ray player it could be just what you’re after.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

There's little difference between this set and Sony's W4000 series of slightly cheaper screens. The same user-friendliness and reliable pictures across all sources are present, despite its irritating remote control and lacklustre speakers. One criticism would be that the USB input doesn't play MP3 music files, but overall this fine-looking set excels with HD and deserves an audition if you're after something reliable, but a little bit different.
