Belkin F5D8232-4 Pro Reviews

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

With a firmware update to support 802.11n-only mode and better throughput, along with a modest price cut, the Belkin N1 Vision would be almost 20-20.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

The main feature of N1 Vision isn't its draft 802.11n speed, as that is shared with the other members of the Belkin N1 family, but instead it is the emphasis on usability and ease of installation.

The upright design of the router could be a good or bad thing depending on where you plan on putting it. My old router sat on top of PC which sits under my desk and the N1 Vision router just wouldn't fit there because of the desk but if you place your router on your desk it could be a space saver since it doesn't take up as much desktop real estate as a traditional flat style router.

The Belkin N1 Vision looks like no other wireless router we've seen, its performance is among the best, and it's a snap to install. But it'll put a dent in your wallet.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

This eye-pleasing draft-n home router has all the Internet sharing and security features you'd expect, and a great diagnostic display. But it's fairly expensive, and its lack of a 5-GHz radio makes it slower than the other routers in this roundup.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

The Belkin N1 Vision router makes great strides in user-friendliness, but drops the ball when it comes to performance.

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

The N1 Vision represents reasonable value as its price tag is in the same ball park as competing Gigabit equipped 802.11n routers such as D-Link's DIR-655. The N1 isn't as well featured and wireless performance is pedestrian at best, but if you want the best looking broadband router on the planet then look no further than this.

Simply put, if you’re in the market for a router to replace your under featured ISP supplied one, the N1 Vision is a great choice and more than up to the task while, in the status display, offering something a little special that you won’t find anywhere else. Just make sure you update it and use the beta firmware!
