Audio-technica ATH-ANC7b QuietPoint Pro Reviews

www.whathifi.com‘s review Edit

Mayer Hawthorne's velvet tones are muffled and indistinct, while the overall soundstage is smaller and less open, while treble effects can sound bright and uncouth. They're comfortable, solidly put together, can carry a tune and successfully cancel outside noise, but for pure sound quality, you can do much better.

A solid, well-designed set of noise-cancelling headphones offering good noise-dampening and respectable sound quality at a reasonably affordable price. If Audio-Technica could improve on overall clarity with the next version, it could have a winner on its hands.

AVguide‘s review Edit

The Beats By Dr. Dre sound dramatic and exciting, but not necessarily accurate. They can seem terrific one moment, but become somewhat overbearing the next, depending on whether their colorful voicing matches well with the track you’ve chosen. Because this headphone’s voicing is not neutral, I recommend a try-it-before-you-buy-it approach to see if the Beats’ characteristic sound suits your tastes on a broad range of musical material. PB
