Canon VIXIA FS200 Pro Reviews

expertreviews‘s review Edit

This is the best standard-definition camcorder on test, but it's also the most expensive. If you're opting for standard rather than high definition because it's easier to edit on a slower PC, the Legria FS200 is an excellent choice.

If you're on a tight budget and want an easy-to-use camcorder that looks smart, takes above average quality images (though not HD standard) and has good zoom reach, then despite control difficulties and lack of optical image stabilisation, the LEGRIA FS200 might be the answer to your needs.

Camcorderinfo‘s review Edit

Canon FS200 is a strong performer for an SD camcorder, and its compact, stylish design is very intriguing. The Canon FS200 is one of the most comfortable camcorder's we've worked with, particularly in the standard definition market. It has a soft yet strong hand strap, a well-made navigation joystick, and good button design.

infoSync World‘s review Edit

Three camcorders diverged in a market and we took the cheapest one. The Canon FS200 is part of Canon's 2009 standard-definition memory camcorder lineup, but take heed to our review.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

The Canon FS200 is a standard-definition camcorder with a 37x optical zoom in a very compact body. That's not as megazoomy as Panasonic's H80 or Sony's SR47, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, especially since there's no optical image stabilization.
