The V100's strongest point is its ability to take a licking and keep on… well, computing. While its high price tag (upwards of $4000 depending on options) may not appeal much to the average user, its proven ability to operate without disruption under strenuous laboratory tests make it a serious device for individuals, corporations, and branches of government that can't afford to lose valuable data as a result of everyday workplace hazards like bomb blasts and monsoons.

For all of its ruggedness, the Getac V100 isn't going to last you more than a couple of years if the processing components can't keep up.
