Razer DeathAdder Pro Reviews

expertreviews‘s review Edit

A superbly designed and sensitive gaming mouse, the only thing that lets the DeathAdder down is the awkwardly-placed button for switching profiles.

In addition to the DeathAdder 1800 DPI, Razer also sent over the Goliathus Gaming Mouse Mat Fragged Speed Edition. This large mouse pad is made of slick cloth weave, optimized for all sensitivity settings and sensors, and is available in three mat sizes (oversized, mid-sized, and scaled-down). Razer sent over the mid-sized Razer Goliathus that measures in at 355 x 254 x 4 mm. Its rubber base works well even on glass surfaces and the mice used with this gaming pad were the Lachesis and DeathAdder 1800DPI.

phoronix‘s review Edit

While testing the Razer DeathAdder, the thought had occurred what we like better whether it would be the prestigious Copperhead or the new DeathAdder. The DeathAdder's design is larger and different in many respects from the Copperhead while it continues to improve upon Razer's mouse technology. We had actually liked the slight increase in the size and its overall ergonomics. After weeks of testing, the Razer DeathAdder is our new favorite and will be taking home the Phoronix Editor's Choice Award for its superior design and quality. This is also a competitively priced mouse at approximately $60 USD.

Digital Trends‘s review Edit

If you’re a gamer and want a comfortable mouse, the DeathAdder will serve you well but our advice is to just plug in the DeathAdder and don’t even bother with the software. It’s a hassle to get it to work, and then it’s a hassle to have to open a software utility to change the mouse’s sensitivity.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

Razer's DeathAdder gaming mouse is a powerful accessory for fans of 3D shooters and others who might demand a high degree of customizability in their mice. We wish that Razer had delivered on its promise of Vista support out of the box, but aside from that and a few other issues, the DeathAdder performs exceptionally well.
