Motorola puts brakes on DROID 2 Global Gingerbread update

Despite Verizon Wireless' announcement that the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for the Motorola DROID 2 Global is rolling out to users now, Motorola has said that the update is not ready and is not available. Speaking on its support forums, a Motorola representative said that the update is not rolling out anytime soon and that there is no date given as to when it will be available for users.
