Sony's NWZ-W202 is such a player. The headphone assembly includes 2GB of memory and all player controls (the picture shows the player on its charging cradle – 'break' the magnetic clip in the middle and you're left with two chunky headphones joined by something Sony's calling Spiral Form).Once the player's correctly positioned, the wearer may look like they're wearing two Bluetooth headsets simultaneously, but in fact it's a wireless Walkman. Sweet.

As a player for use when you are out and about, in the gym, jogging, sh**ging or travelling, the W202 is hard to fault. It's light, comfortable, sounds good and does away with the need for earphone cables or Bluetooth connectivity.

There is little to fault here. The sound quality will satisfy your needs when you throw on Eye of the Tiger down the gym, while a thoughtful range of extras in the box make this a compelling purchase.
