Acer Liquid e Pro Reviews

reghardware‘s review Edit

With the Liquid E Acer really shows it can deliver the goods by offering a strong Android 2.1 spec with a fine multi-touch screen, browser with Wi-Fi and HSDPA 3G, social networking apps, excellent call quality and pretty good battery life. The camera is quite useable too, and although the handset is let down a little by its cheap-feeling construction, nonetheless, it offers a good range of well-implemented features at a decent price.

ITreviews‘s review Edit

The Acer Liquid E is a solid Android smartphone. Pretty much unskinned, it lets you get to Android in its native state, plus there is a large screen, good battery life and some neat tweaks such as those top-mounted alert lights.

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

We’re not overly keen on the Liquid E’s design as it’s a little too plasticky and a tad too wide for our liking. However, if you can get past the design issues you’ll find a very capable handset with a fast processor, great capacitive screen and good all-round specification. At present, we think it’s priced a little too high in comparison to the likes of the HTC Legend, but if the price falls soon it may be worth serious consideration.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

In terms of hardware, design and specs, the Liquid E is no match whatsoever for the top ranked iPhone 4 and HTC Desire phones, but is a capable second-tier player that can definitely compete with the likes of the Nokia N900 and Motorola Dext phones.

SlashGear‘s review Edit

The Liquid E looks identical to the original Acer Liquid. That’s because the key change is on the inside: the underclocked Snapdragon processor – running at 768MHz rather than the more usual 1GHz – now gets to play with Android 2.1 rather than the 1.6 of its predecessor. But in comparison to devices like the EVO 4G, the Nexus One and other high-end Android smartphones, the Acer Liquid E feels a little underwhelming.
