Razer Carcharias Pro Reviews

gadgetreview‘s review Edit

The Razer Carcharias is a great set of cans. It’s a solid stereo offering that is inexpensive, easy to use and comfortable. It’s not replacing any 5.1 or 7.1 setup and the Carcharias definitely benefits from an aftermarket soundcard.

The price, which is US $79.99 from Razer directly or €72,99 in Europe, might feel a bit steep but you must bear in mind that this is Razer, and that you get a premium product. Due to all these facts and our personal experience with the comfort that Carcharias offers, we are more than happy to give it our recommended award.

CrunchGear‘s review Edit

It improves on the old Razers at that price point in almost every way, but most importantly in ergonomics. Sound is great, the headset is comfortable, and it’s even cool-looking. If you’re in the market, or have been rocking the Piranhas (perhaps on my recommendation) then I definitely suggest picking a pair of these up.

tweaktown‘s review Edit

The only real gripes I have about these headphones are firstly, the price. At 79.99 U.S. Dollars from Amazon, this is a bit steep for the amount of features being offered and there aren’t even any blue LEDs! – Secondly, there is no muting ability for the headphones, only for the microphone. Although this is a minor niggle, it’s still a feature I would have liked to have seen. Despite these issues, I would say that if you can flash the cash, these should be on your list; they won’t disappoint.
