Edifier Luna 5 Encore iF500 Pro Reviews

www.whathifi.com‘s review Edit

It’s a shame the iF500’s display isn’t visible from a sitting position, though get up close and the touch-sensitive buttons on the unit are responsive. This means switching between audio modes and scanning frequencies on the decent-enough FM tuner is simple… if you’re looking at the iF500 from above, that is. Sonically this is no disgrace but models half the price will give it a run for its money, and that’s why we can only muster a certain level of enthusiasm.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

Its lack of proper iPhone support is a letdown, but the Luna5 Encore is still a good-looking, great-sounding, iPod speaker dock.

reghardware‘s review Edit

When it comes to sound quality, the Luna5 is very close to the current big boy on the block, the B&W Zeppelin, but – to our eyes at least – it looks better and only costs half the price.

Pocket-lint‘s review Edit

It might look snazzy, funky and impressive, however the Edifier suffers from a number of features that will make you frustrated. It's not that it performs badly, it's just for the money we would rather spend it on the other options available. A case of one with plenty of potential that just failed to deliver.
