Samsung LE40B651 Pro Reviews

AVForums‘s review Edit

All things considered, the LE40B651 is mostly good news. The way in which Samsung have tried to compensate for LCD's natural contrast deficiencies with the auto-dimming feature isn't to my liking and I'd appreciate being given control over it, but that doesn't change the fact that the TV has above average Greyscale performance and excellent colour reproduction.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

HDTV and Blu-ray 1080p images are clear, with deep blacks that challenge plasma for impact. Its high-contrast performance is capable of going very bright, yet it's energy efficient, registering about 100W of use. Standard-def images can look pasty but, given the 40in screen, they are OK. Audio quality is customisable to an extent, but still a bit flat.

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

The LE40B651 is another one of those darned tormenting TVs that's got me really torn over what final mark to give it. For while its feature count, design and HD picture performance are all more or less outstanding for its price point, its standard definition pictures are only good rather than great, and its sound definitely doesn't support the visuals as powerfully as it should.
