Sony BRAVIA KDL-32W5500 Pro Reviews

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

If you’re looking for a mid-size LCD television, the Sony Bravia KDL32W5500 is king of the bunch. It comes with a higher price tag than we would have liked, but if you want the pedigree you’ll have to pay for it.

AVForums‘s review Edit

The KDL-32W5500 is a nice little 32” TV, as 32” TVs go. Sony's inclusion of the “Theatre Mode” is a good, quick way to get surprisingly accurate pictures with minimal effort (although even in this case, an improvement was made by calibrating the Greyscale). I ended up feeling that most of the additional extras here (Applicast, Motionflow, and the various other video processing controls) were best avoided.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

However, the 32W5500 doesn't just share the same strengths of the 32E5500. It also has identical weaknesses, including signs of motion blur even with the MotionFlow system activated, a rather limited viewing angle, and its performance is marred by a blue glow over some bright elements in otherwise dark pictures.

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

As expected, the 32W5500 performs pretty much identically to its much more expensive 32E5500 sibling, and so represents an enticing prospect. What's more, when the 32W5500's pictures are good, they're really very good indeed, making it a truly attractive proposition for Sony die-hards.
