Samsung LE32B550 Pro Reviews

expertreviews‘s review Edit

Overall we liked the LE32B550, but its image quality isn't quite up to the standards of Panasonic's TX-L32G10B. The biggest problem is that it's overshadowed very good 37in models from Toshiba and LG, which also happen to be cheaper.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

The Samsung is a respectable standard-definition performer, meanwhile, upscaling Freeview and DVD feeds to the screen's full HD resolution cleanly and sharply. The lack of 100Hz does result in marginally more motion blur than you get with the company's higher specified TVs, especially with standard-def sources. But it's no big deal for the money. Otherwise, the only problems we can find with the 32B550 are its limited viewing angle and its rather flat and flimsy audio.

Despite only having adequate audio, the Samsung LE32B550's superb pictures are more than enough in themselves to justify the set's amazingly low sub-£400 asking price. In fact, I'd even say the set goes beyond Toshiba's 32AV635D in being the biggest bargain of the year so far.
