Dell Inspiron Mini 9 Pro Reviews

expertreviews‘s review Edit

The Inspiron has an 8.9in screen, so it's slightly more compact than the 10in netbooks here. The screen's glossy finish is reflective, but it's also bright. The small touch pad is accurate, but the spongy buttons don't give enough feedback when pressed.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

The price may look attractive but it doesn’t take a supercomputer to calculate that the actual cost of this Dell Mini 9 3G netbook is closer to £500 over two years; and anything much more than occasional online use may incur additional charges as you exceed the data limit. Nevertheless, the laptop is a mostly sound design, and the convenience of 3G modem integration means no unsightly dongles to lose.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

The Mini 9 is nicely portable, though this takes its toll on the size of the keyboard. Still, for £228 it's good value, and you can knock that down to £199 if you omit the webcam.

Register Hardware‘s review Edit

Without doubt, the Dell Inspiron Mini 9 is easily the nicest looking netbook on the market so far, and its performance scores show it's no slouch when it comes to crunching numbers. Despite its small footprint, it has a decent-size keyboard and provided you can live with the function keys being relegated to a secondary location, it's a good compromise.
