Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 8100 Pro Reviews

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 8100 isn't the least expensive budget-priced 1080p home theater projector, but it's easily worth the extra money you'll spend for it.

Audioholics‘s review Edit

Epson's been on a roll lately. With the Home Cinema 8100 projector, you are getting an awful lot of features from Epson's higher end products, but without the higher-priced bill that comes attached. Make no mistake, the 8100 has a lower end D7 panel (which is, as far as we can tell, organic), lacks the video processing capabilities of the UB line and... no actually, that's really about it.

ProjectorCentral‘s review Edit

Epson Home Cinema 8100 is an outstanding projector and a superb value for its modest selling price. It is important to emphasize that the HD20 sells for only $999, and it does a very fine job for a projector at this price point. For those who want to budget no more than $1000 for a 1080p projector, it is a solid choice and will deliver an engaging picture. However, if you can expand your budget to reach the Epson 8100, you will be rewarded with superior image quality and more lens and brightness flexibility.
