Fujitsu Amilo Mini Ui3520 Pro Reviews

expertreviews‘s review Edit

The Amilo is one of only four netbooks here with an 8.9in screen, but the only one to have a matt-finish screen. The touch pad is small and accurate. We're used to most laptops and netbooks being whisper-quiet, so we were surprised by the Amilo's noisy fan. These faults could be forgiven at a lower price, but Samsung's NC10 costs just £36 more, so choosing between the two is easy.

ITreviews‘s review Edit

This is a fair attempt at a netbook but the poorly thought-out keyboard lets things down. You can get more for your money if you shop around.

reghardware‘s review Edit

Its downsides, however, are its small display for the machine's overall size, slightly awkward keyboard and touchpad, and sub-par hard drive performance. While it can mostly keep up with the competition, the Amilo doesn't exactly stand out either, making it a decent, if not exactly exciting machine.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

It may not be the most exciting netbook on the market, but it does offer a useful expansion option with the ExpressCard/34 slot. The Amilo Mini is let down by a cheap-looking screen and tortuous mouse click buttons, but in its favour it’s one of the lowest priced Atom netbooks currently available.

SlashGear‘s review Edit

The Fujitsu Amilo Mini Ui 3520 is certainly distinctive in its looks, and it’s reasonably compact and sturdy, but the tricky touchpad buttons and dire keyboard undermine its abilities.

Notebookcheck‘s review Edit

With its Amilo Mini Ui3520, Fujitsu-Siemens is expanding its Amilo product series with an 8.9 inch model, marking its entrance the ever expanding netbook market. With a weight of just one kilogram and measurements of 23.3 x 17.5 x 3.58 centimetres, the Ui3520 holds quite a good figure and keeps up quite well with its netbook colleagues.
