GIGABYTE GM-M8000 Pro Reviews

bjorn3d‘s review Edit

The GM-M8000 mouse performed very well during testing and general use. The thing that makes this mouse stand out, is the ease of use, the ability to to add weights to custom tailor this mouse to our personal needs, and the visual representation of the DPI setting that the mouse is using at that time. While getting my hand adjusted to the new mouse, it was very comfortable to use and did not cause my hand to hurt or ache. Placing 3 of the 7 buttons of this mouse on the mouse wheel is another plus, this will help take the guess work out of what button does what, and makes access 5 out of the 7 buttons with very little effort. Because our fingers are allready on or near these buttons.

If you want a good all round general purpose mouse for darn near any category but AND don’t want to spend an arm and a leg on it, this mouse should be right up there at the top of your list. However, if you are like most humans and your palms sweat, prepare for some serious frustration.

Our experience to date with the Gigabyte GM-M8000 has been great. We feel like Gigabyte has offered a solid competitor into the gaming mouse market at a friendly $49.99. After reading the included marketing materials and visiting Gigabyte’s website, we have to say they backed up their words with a mouse that gets the job done. We found the overall design, ergonomics, and quality of materials utilized to be very good. The GHOST Engine mouse software (say that three times fast) package is a great first try from Gigabyte and they certainly provided all the basics one could think of for most users.
