Cowon V5 Pro Reviews

reghardware‘s review Edit

The V5 isn't cheap but you are getting one heck of a portable media player for your money, one with superb audio performance, great video format support and a superb quality screen. The menu structure is antediluvian and the lack of playlist support irks, but you'll forget about those niggles once you start watching a decent-resolution video.

Engadget‘s review Edit

All things considered, we can't heartily recommend the V5 unless a larger, higher resolution panel is more important to you than inbuilt WiFi and the ability to surf the web; the pristine audio quality is definitely a boon, but for most, we're guessing the cons will outweigh the pros.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

The Cowon V5 (32GB version) costs £309 which is a bit steep when you can get a 64GB Apple iPod touch for £306. The V5 for is those dedicated users who need a portable media player that provides superior audio/video playback and a good connectivity option (SPDIF and HDMI). But for the rest, get the iPod touch.
