NOKIA C6 Pro Reviews

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The Nokia C6 shows that the former heavyweight Finnish manufacturer still has plenty to learn when it comes to designing a proper touch-screen smartphone.

reghardware‘s review Edit

The Nokia C6 fits into the recent Nokia gameplan of offering strongly featured, reasonably priced workhorse phones. It's packing a decent range of smartphone features and has a good Qwerty keyboard, but social networking could have been better integrated. Camera and media playing facilities are okay too, but the Symbian OS tends to be irritatingly laggy and the Ovi Store is still a long way behind the Android Market or Apple’s App Store.

ITreviews‘s review Edit

The Nokia C6 covers all the bases for a higher end smartphone and the sliding keyboard is a nice bonus. However we are never particularly excited by Symbian S60 5th Edition, and both Android and the iPhone OS are much slicker propositions.

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

The C6 is a big improvement over previous mid-range side sliding phones from Nokia. The keyboard is very good, the software is much easier to use and aside from the screen, build quality seems decent. However, while it has made progress, the phone still lags behind the competition in many ways and there are few situations where we'd recommend it outright.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

Nokia's C6 smartphone may be cheap but clunky software and a dated-looking design means it doesn't represent very good value for money. There are plenty of better alternatives at a similar price point.

Softpedia‘s review Edit

Nokia C6 is an interesting addition to the Cseries lineup, but does not come up with anything out-of-the-box that might impress users. It's like the manufacturer preferred to put some standard features into an old design layout, just to be sure that the phone will be 100% usable and with as few downsides as possible. That's how the phone feels, incomplete, but all-rounder at the same time. Nokia C6 Review

Phone Arena‘s review Edit

The Nokia C6-00 left an average impression at the reviewing afterparty. Everything about it is run-of-the-mill for a Nokia touchscreen handset, and we can't think of a feature that will distinguish it much from the N97 mini, for example, even by price. If it falls way down in price, the Nokia C6 might make a worthy alternative to the 5800 XpressMusic for people who are dying for the physical keyboard and the 5MP camera. And Symbian.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

You might notice we haven't mentioned the keyboard above. We're calling it neutral – well-made, but with keys just too close together. Maybe we'd be more forgiving if there wasn't so much wasted space around it. While we're criticising Symbian for being laggy, we should mention that C6 does feel robust, software-wise. Though it lacks shine, it's got features coming out of every port (save for proper social network integration).

GSMArena‘s review Edit

It may look like the same old same old prima facie, but that's exactly what the C series are all about. They are just not the kind of phones to set the place on fire. It's a lineup aimed at the mass market and it doesn't need inspiration and creativity when a couple of tried and tested recipes will do.

HardwareZone‘s review Edit

What is to be said about the Nokia C6? Obviously, it isn't designed to be a premium smartphone, apparent from its heavy and bulky form factor. And with it, we've also seen how frustrating it can be to handle the C6's weight, and struggled with its unresponsive resistive touch screen and cramped physical QWERTY keyboard.
