Distimo report finds the WP7 Marketplace has passed Blackberry App World

In their look back over the past year, Distimo has confirmed in their monthly report that Marketplace is now the 3rd largest app platform, after iOS and the Android Marketplace, and the 4th largest app store, after the iPhone app store, iPad app store and Android Marketplace.
Blackberry App world takes up the 5th position followed by the Nokia Ovi store.
Of note is that Marketplace showed the biggest growth of over 400% year on year, and that the Marketplace for Windows Mobile never passed 2500 available apps. »read more
