ViewSonic VEB620 Pro Reviews

ITreviews‘s review Edit

The ViewSonic VEB620 ereader is far from being the best ereader we've used. The processor is slow and the build feels second rate. Add in the relatively high price and we'd suggest you shop around rather than plumping for this offering.

reghardware‘s review Edit

In the end, while the ViewSonic’s VEB620 works, yet I can’t really recommend it. It is too expensive for what’s on offer in terms of features. ViewSonic could implement an immediate price drop to a sub-£100 for this model and start to make some hay at the lower end of the market. But as it stands, you might want to look at alternatives.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

The ViewSonic VEB620 does one thing well which is display the text of ebooks. We prefer the simplicity of the ViewSonic over more technically crammed e-ink devices. It’s no match for an iPad, but it holds its own amongst rival readers. At £199, though, it’s expensive against the Amazon Kindle ($189). At a good £50 less, and with free 3G for downloading books, the Kindle 2 is the better choice.
