Logitech V550 Nano Pro Reviews

ITreviews‘s review Edit

Logitech's V550 Nano does seem like a gimmick in some respects: we can't really see storing mice on the side of notebooks catching on in a big way, particularly when you consider it's more expensive than most alternatives. It's a tidy package, though, and performs well, so if you're in the market for a versatile solution in this area it's likely to suit.

ExtremeTech‘s review Edit

Though the VX Revolution Notebook mouse came packed with more features and was more impressive on its debut, the V550 steps back a little and offers a more simple design without the unnecessary bells and whistles, yet with more notebook-friendly uses. It weighs less than the VX, and is about $20 cheaper than when it debut.

While it's certainly innovative, the idea behind the V550 Nano's 'notebook-docking' will be somewhat impractical for many and looks a tad ugly. And though it's a great mouse on its own, unless you really want the claimed 18 month battery life, Logitech's VX Nano is probably a better option.

PC Pro‘s review Edit

Cordless mice should have taken over the world by now, but the fact that their wired cousins are still around is surely partly to do with the clunky, awkward receivers they come with. Logitech's V550 Nano solves this problem with panache: its receiver is so small it barely protrudes at all when plugged into your laptop's USB port.

If it's a choice between this and a trackpad you'd be wise to upgrade ASAP, and even if you already have a wireless mouse for your laptop it's still worth a long look. The mouse is smooth and has a few nice features we're sure you'll enjoy. We highly recommend this mouse.

MacNN‘s review Edit

Until now, some of Logitech's better mousing features, particularly its extra-small Nano Receiver and its free-spinning metal scroll wheel, have been limited to high-end devices; outside of the MX 620, none of its previous...
