Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-T700 Pro Reviews

ephotozine‘s review Edit

This is one of the more expensive pocket cameras on the market. It looks great and will appeal anyone who is style conscious. Looking at the price tag I expect outstanding picture quality. The Sony DSC T700 does not quite hit those heights, but is still more than capable of decent snapshots.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

Part smart-looking snapshot camera, part 4GB portable digital photo album, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T700 will satisfy those who like showing off their pictures as much as they like taking them.

DigitalCameraReview‘s review Edit

Hands down, the T700 is certainly the best looking, most solidly built small camera we've had the pleasure of shooting with this year. Sony usually earns serious points for style and build quality in our evaluations, but the general opinion around here is that they've even outdone themselves with this model.

With great image-sharing options and 4GB of internal memory, this is a good-but-pricey camera for the design-conscious.

PhotographyBLOG‘s review Edit

If you are a control freak or a real stickler for image quality, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T700 is not for you. It's a point-and-shoot camera with a tiny sensor, after all. This means that you cannot manually control the shutter speed and aperture, and that the photos it produces can indeed look sub-par up close.

The Cyber-shot DSC-T700's offers a slew of playback features, is fully touch-screen operated and can fit in a wallet - a very big wallet that is.

The Imaging Resource‘s review Edit

If you're one of those people who wants to know what the best digicam is, the Sony T700 isn't the camera for you. Other cameras take slightly better pictures. Nothing, however, quite does what the Sony T700 does. It's not only beautiful, but it can hold a year's worth of pictures and - with the optional HDTV cable - display them in a scrapbook or a pan-and-zoom slideshow format in high resolution on your flatscreen HDTV.

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

The Sony Cyber-shot T700 has excellent build quality, respectable performance and image quality that will be more than sufficient for most casual snapshot situations. It has some useful and entertaining features, but its primary feature is its style. It is designed to appeal to a very specific kind of person; someone who would happily buy a Bang & Olufsen hi-fi. It’s not the best camera on the market, but it looks like it should be and has a price to match, and for some people that’s what really matters.
