Palm Pre Plus GSM Pro Reviews

phonedog‘s review Edit

Overall it seems like the Palm Pre Plus is a device very worthy of consideration. webOS is a great operating system, and with the knowledge that HP intends to continue development for the platform, we can only imagine that it will continue to be improved upon.

AT&T's version of the Palm Pre Plus is a really nice smartphone, but unless you're desperate for a new phone right away, it might be smarter to hold off.

What it does have, however, is a brilliant platform with huge potential to change the way you work and live with your phone (provided they tap that potential soon... as in now). If you're as hopeful as we are that that potential will be fulfilled, your decision should be a simple one.

Macworld‘s review Edit

The Palm Pre Plus is by no means a perfect smartphone: The keyboard is too small, webOS can be slow and glitchy, and you won’t find nearly as many apps in the Palm App Catalog as in the iTunes App Store or the Android Market. That said, the Pre Plus is best iPhone alternative on AT&T.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

AT&T's Palm Pre Plus, like all Palm Pre models, is a good smartphone, but it doesn't outmatch the iPhone.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

If you're looking for a smaller and less expensive alternative to the Motorola Droid you will be pleased with the Palm Pre Plus. The hardware improvements and future software upgrades should boost its appeal - especially among the latest crop of Android phones. We still believe, however, that Palm should rethink the keyboard. A phone so well-connected to social networks and messaging applications simply deserves better.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

A few small improvements to the Palm Pre's hardware means that the Pre Plus takes some baby steps towards doing its brilliant web OS operating system justice. The keyboard is better and there are more apps to chose from this time around – but these are slight tweaks rather than a serious attempt to iron out the perceived flaws.

LAPTOP Magazine‘s review Edit

Palm’s flagship phone retains its ease of use on AT&T’s network, but short battery life and sluggish performance hold it back.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

With the great capabilities of WebOS, the Palm Pre Plus is one of AT&T's better touch-screen smartphones, but its price tag may be off-putting for many.
