Panasonic VIERA TX-P54Z1 Pro Reviews

AVForums‘s review Edit

It's expensive, but the Panasonic TX-P54Z1 is a fantastic Plasma TV. It looks absolutely brilliant with the best Blu-ray Discs in a way that the better LCD TVs can't manage, and an off-board video processing device can make standard definition very watchable – perhaps not something that should be necessary for a display this expensive, but a minor issue given its other strengths.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

So, as long as you can feed it a predominantly HD diet, the TX-P54Z1 is undeniably terrific. But, we're still not entirely convinced that it stands out from the crowd quite enough to justify its extremely hefty price tag.

Another day, another TV that's got me feeling conflicted. Having finished my testing with a few Blu-ray discs, I'm still basking in the warm glow of the P54Z1's truly exceptional HD movie performance. And yes, I've been at least a bit seduced by the extraordinarily skinny design and extremely effective WirelessHD technology.
