LG 42LF7700 Pro Reviews

reghardware‘s review Edit

The 42LF7700 isn’t perfect – the lack of upscaling is disappointing, if only because it highlights the great difference in quality between the HD and SD programmes available on Freesat. Nevertheless, this is 42in Full HD television that delivers good image and audio quality, along with a Freesat HD tuner and it can be found for less than £900 – certainly, pretty good value for money. So, if you’re keen to explore Freesat in all its high-definition glory, the LG 42LF7700 is well worth considering.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

The 42LF7700 has an inbuilt Freesat tuner so you can recieve terrestrial HD broadcasts. And it's amazing how thin LG have made the 42LF770, making it perfect for wall hanging...

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

The 42LF7700 has integrated its Freesat tuner well for the most part, and can produce some quite phenomenal pictures with the right kind of bright, colourful source material. If money's not too big an issue for you, I personally - movie lover that I am - would probably still be inclined to go for the Panasonic 42PZ81 over the new LG, on account of the Panasonic's superior black level response. But that doesn't alter the fact that the 42LF7700 is still a very nice Freesat TV debut from LG that offers something rather sought after in today's financial climate: impressive value for money.
