SteelSeries Siberia v2 Pro Reviews

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

All-in-all it's fair to describe the steelseries SIBERIA V2's as a pretty good set of headphones if consider their forgiving price tag. Must try harder.

The Siberia V2 is light and comfortable, and noise-deadening foam surrounding the earpieces means you hear very little outside noise. Sound quality in music or games isn't quite as good as that of our favourite headset, the Plantronics Gamecom 777, but the Steelseries headset is over 200g lighter so makes a good lightweight alternative.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

If all you're looking for is a pair of headphones for listening to music, you can get a similar quality for less money. But as an all-round headset, the Siberia V2 isn't to be sniffed at.

SteelSeries’ Siberia V2 is targeted towards gamers and this is exactly where it excels. The audio quality may not be up to the standards of the expensive Sennheiser HD 595s but for this niche, it really doesn’t have to be. What we get is good acoustical performance and high levels of comfort at a phenomenal price. What more is there to ask for?

Should you feel jealous about not having this Siberia V2? Abso-fraggin-lutely. There aren’t many of these around. I take it back. You can get a V2, but not necessarily the awesomely just-before-the-sky-turns-black blue set. Not unless you went to the Grammy’s, know someone who did (and who is willing to give them up), or know someone at Steelseries who’s equally willing to part with them.

Other than the minor annoyance of the cable length, the Siberia v2 Gaming Headset is a comfortably designed, well-performing product that will please most users, both when gaming and when listening to audio. Its audio performance, while it can’t quite match the fidelity of high-end headphones that cost much more, is surprisingly good for a product in this price range.
