However, its poor image quality and sound along with the lack of inputs and disappointing EPG make this TV one to avoid. If you really want an all-in-one TV with iPlayer, Panasonic's TX-L32G10B costs only £50 more and has built-in Freesat HD, which will soon offer iPlayer and ITV Player.

The display and audio don't offer the sort of excitement that you'll find on sets from more established manufacturers, and the elephant in the corner is the lack of Freeview HD, but we suspect that won't deter those being targeted by the iViewer. It isn't the greatest set out there, but for sheer iPlayer simplicity and value for money, it is well worth a look.

It’s a little bit tricky to know what to make of the Cello iViewer C3298DVB LCD TV. On the one hand it genuinely breaks new ground for the UK TV market, with some imaginative, thoughtfully organised/interfaced and useful online content that leaves most of the more established TV brands looking a bit off the pace (though some of them, at least, are going to catch up pretty soon). What’s more, it offers this functionality at a reasonably aggressive price, and even manages to produce some likeable HD pictures.
