3M MPro 150 Pro Reviews

gadgetreview‘s review Edit

3M MPro 150 has all sort of practical business applications, which is clearly the market is targeted for. But that isn’t to say it couldn’t be purchased for personal use, though I think one would be hard pressed to use it on a regular basis. The rechargeable battery, microSD card slot, built-in 1GB of memory and variety of connectivity options makes the MPro an easy choice for anyone running around from pitch to pitch.

ITreviews‘s review Edit

Compromise is the name of the game for the MPro150. Yes, it has many shortcomings, but if you need a projector that fits into your shirt pocket these are mostly acceptable, and all told it's an easy-to-use device that does a pretty remarkable job.

LAPTOP Magazine‘s review Edit

While the 3M MPro150 beams out a nice bright image and its battery lasts more than 2 hours, the inability to show 16:9 files in their proper ratio and lack of image adjustment options make this pico tough to recommend. For $100 less, the Samsung SP-H03 has everything the MPRo150 has to offer and more, even if you have to sacrifice some endurance.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

There are some great aspects to this solidly built projector. It's neat and compact and weighs only 155g. Its non-slip rubber coating makes it easy to grip and we like the fact you really can slip it into an inside jacket pocket to take out and about with you. We were also impressed to find the battery lasted longer than 3M led us to believe. We got more than 2.5 hours active use from the MPro 150 Pocket Projector with no indication that the battery was fading and no excessive build-up of heat.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The 3M Pocket Projector MPro150 delivers a relatively bright image, unusually loud audio, and the ability to show images from a wide range of sources.

CrunchGear‘s review Edit

At just under $400, the MPro150 is no bargain. For much less (~$250), you can get its predecessor, which is fine if you’re running video from an external source. If the ability to project Word files on the wall of a dark room is something you really need, then this is your gadget. But if you want to watch movies, or load your old web video collection on a MicroSD card and have it on tap, I’d wait for the next generation.

Pocket-lint‘s review Edit

As a concept the Pocket Projector is a great idea, however in practice it's a bit of a disappointment compared to more traditional projectors. At £350 you are clearly paying for the size and initial wow factor of the device, plus the ability to leave the rest of your usual kit behind. As for quality it's good, but not great. It is also very noisy, off-puttingly so, with the projector wheezing as if its about to have a heart attack once it gets going.

The quality is as you'd expect, but the battery and internal storage make it an intriguing travel companion

ProjectorCentral‘s review Edit

The 3M MPro150 is a presenter's pocket projector, no question. Its onboard storage and document support make it a great choice for wireless projection, allowing you to travel light. In these days of airlines charging for checked baggage, this can be a great benefit.
