Gyration hasn't introduced anything particularly new with the Air Mouse Go Plus, but with a 30 metre range, series of custom controls and smooth, responsive operation, this is certainly a fast and convenient alternative to conventional controls in the right environment.

Like Gyration's previous Air Mouse, the Air Mouse GO Plus has its share of flaws yet is still worth considering. It's more comfortable than the company's previous effort while in its element but not that great to use as a mouse, so whether you're prepared to pay the premium really depends on intended usage.

If you’ve tried Gyration’s method of mouse control before and haven’t enjoyed the experience, don’t expect anything different here. It is a bit of an acquired taste and while it doesn’t take too long to get used to, it’s only really effective for the applications described above. In this light it works quite well though, and is a tidy, comfortable setup with a versatile range of custom settings and responsive operation.

Multimedia users, who regard the mouse as an universal tool for internet, office, games and movies/music watching and only want to use it to a part in the air, might just want to look at the Air Mouse, even if the listed disadvantages such as the poor ergonomics and the lousy key pressure point is of consequence. On the other hand, the Air Mouse GO Plus is really worth a recommendation for professional users, who would like to mainly use the mouse in the air at presentations and conferences or for media-center-system owners, who want to use the mouse as a remote control from the sofa.
